These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the K9OS marketing website. They do not govern the K9OS app — for that, see the K9OS Service Agreement (in preparation).
By using k9os.ai, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the sites.
1. Who we are
K9OS SRL ("K9OS", "we", "us") is a Romanian company in registration at ONRC.

2. What the marketing site is
The marketing site provides information about K9OS, lets you read about our product, request a demo, contact us, and (later) sign up for early access or our newsletter. It is informational. It does not, by itself, give you access to the K9OS service.
3. Permitted use
You may:
- Browse the site for personal or business research.
- Share links to public pages.
- Reproduce small excerpts for review, journalism, or commentary, with attribution.
- Submit a contact form or demo request honestly.
4. Prohibited use
You must not:
- Use the site for any illegal purpose.
- Scrape, mirror, or systematically copy the site, including for AI training, without prior written permission. Polite, attributed quoting in articles is fine.
- Interfere with the site's operation (DDoS, vulnerability probing without permission, etc.).
- Misrepresent your identity in submissions.
- Use the site to send unsolicited commercial messages to us.
- Submit content (in forms) that is unlawful, defamatory, infringes third-party rights, or contains malware.
- Use K9OS trademarks or branding in a way that suggests endorsement without our written permission.
5. Intellectual property
All content on k9os.ai — text, screenshots, illustrations, video, logo, the "K9OS" name and head-with-brain mark — is owned by K9OS SRL or licensed to it. You may not reuse it commercially without our written permission. The "K9OS" name and head-with-brain mark are trademarks of K9OS SRL.
Where third-party assets appear (icons, photography, embeds), they are used under license; we honor those licenses and do not transfer rights.
6. Submissions
If you submit a message, demo request, or other content via the site:
- You confirm the information is true and that you have the right to submit it.
- You grant K9OS a license to use that information to respond to you and (if you become a customer) to provide the service.
- You do not grant K9OS rights to publish or reuse your submission publicly without your separate consent.
7. Links to third parties
The site may link to third-party websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, policies, or availability.
8. Availability
We do our best to keep the marketing site up but offer no guarantees of uptime. The site is provided "as is". We may change or take down pages at any time.
9. Disclaimers
The marketing site contains general product information, not legal, veterinary, business, or financial advice. K9OS makes no warranties about completeness, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose for the marketing-site content. Customers receive contractual commitments for the K9OS service in the separate K9OS Service Agreement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Romanian and EU law, K9OS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the marketing site. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for gross negligence, fraud, or death/personal injury caused by negligence — those are not waivable under Romanian law.
If you are a consumer (not acting in a business capacity) under Romanian law (OG 21/1992, Legea 363/2007) or EU consumer law, your statutory consumer protections are not affected.
11. Privacy
How we handle data you submit is covered by the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes are announced in the site footer for 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new Terms.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Romanian law and applicable EU regulations.
Disputes are subject to the courts of Brașov, Romania, except that consumers may sue in the courts of their EU member state of residence (per Regulation 1215/2012 Brussels Ia) and may rely on the mandatory consumer-protection rules of their country of residence.
