We are building the foundational intelligence for canine training — eventually field-recognition of dog movement and training history. Six software modules are how the corpus gets built. The software is shipping now, in a working facility in Brașov, with the operators who actually use it.
This software was not designed in a conference room. It was designed in a 10-kennel working facility in Brașov, Romania — by the operator who runs all six modules every working day.
K9Protection produced 911 guest dog-nights, ran a board-and-train program, and placed protection-trained dogs with executives, security firms, and police K9 units in 2025. It runs all six modules of K9OS in production, every working day.
The boarding ledger. The training notebooks. The balance sheets across drive and control. The pedigree binders. The buyer waitlist. The protection-dog dossiers. The invoices that close the books at month-end. Every artefact that used to live in a paper folder, a Romanian translator's head, or a separate accounting program now lives in one system, designed for the way this work is actually done.
K9OS is the result. Not a platform. Not a suite. A working tool, and underneath it, a slowly accumulating corpus.
"When you sell a twenty-thousand-euro dog to a buyer in Vienna, the portfolio is the sale. But before there is a portfolio, there are six months of logged sessions. We built K9OS so that every claim on a dossier traces back to a session that was actually written down." — Operator, K9Protection · Brașov
K9OS is being built as software so that, in five years, the AI corpus exists. Working-dog training has, for a hundred years, lived in the heads of decoys and helpers and a small literature of out-of-print Belgian and Czech manuals. There is no machine-readable record of what good training actually looks like. We are building one — one logged session, one balance reading, one placement dossier at a time. The end-game is intentionally open. K9OS may remain a small independent business serving a hundred operations well, or it may become the recognition infrastructure for the entire working-dog industry. We are not yet sure which. We are building both possibilities at once.
No typing. No translation. No copy-paste from a notes app. Talk about the dog while you walk back from the kennel — K9OS does the rest.

Whisper transcribes. Qwen drafts a polished update in the owner's language. A photo from today is attached. Nothing leaves your server.
Same time every evening. They feel close to their dog. They tell three friends about you. Bookings show up. That's the loop.
Tap a language. The report on the phone updates. Your staff still records in Romanian. The owner reads in whatever they speak.
Every message K9OS sends — daily report, training update, booking confirmation, anniversary note — is multilingual by default. The dog owner picks their language once at booking. They never see anything else.
Four vertical apps each pay for themselves on their own segment. Two horizontal layers — identity and money — wire them together. An OS that doesn't manage money isn't really an OS.
Drive vs. control. Prey vs. defense. Environmental confidence. Recovery. Bite-work intensity. Obedience precision. A handler can hold three or four of these in their head. M3 holds twelve.
Pen-and-paper today. The portfolio is a byproduct of daily logging discipline, not the primary product. AI value: hold 12 dimensions in computation that a human can hold only three or four of in their head — and flag drift weeks before the trainer would feel it. Every figure on a buyer dossier resolves, by date and reading, to a logged session.
*the axes can be changed depending on the module's needs.
M2 is functionally a data acquisition layer for M3. Every M2 customer's structured training-session logs become the corpus that makes M3 launch deep instead of empty. Target: ≥75% M1→M2 attach by end of year two.
Daily reports, voice notes, kennel events. Structured terminology emerges from real operators in four languages.
Per-session logs: exercises, durations, helpers, environments, outcomes. Tagged against shared taxonomy.
Multi-dimensional balance vectors over time. Correlates with helper, environment, sport, lineage.
Field/video recognition of dog movement, drive expression, training history. Trained on a corpus only K9OS owns.
We don't ship features. We ship things 3–5 working operators have validated in their own kennels. Their terminology becomes the AI's terminology. Their workflows shape the schema.
Three tiers per module — Small, Large, Enterprise. M1 and Full Kennel come in two tracks: BYO (bring your own WhatsApp Business number) or Bundled (we handle WhatsApp infrastructure).
BYO = you keep your own WhatsApp Business number and pay Meta directly for messages. Bundled = K9OS provisions WhatsApp infrastructure directly via the Meta WhatsApp Business Platform (we are a Tech Provider) and bills it as part of your subscription. BYO is not "cheaper" — you just pay Meta separately.
Direct answers from the operator. No marketing.
No. Whisper handles transcription locally. A fine-tuned Qwen model, served by Ollama on K9OS-owned hardware, drafts the report. Application data resides in Frankfurt. Nothing is shipped to third-party model providers.
3–5 hand-picked operators per module. Six months of monthly feedback calls, terminology and workflow co-design, scoped data rights for AI training. In return: 50% off list locked for 24 months, a "built with" credit, and a direct line to the founder.
Because M2 is functionally a data acquisition layer for M3. The corpus that makes the canine-training foundation model possible is built session-by-session inside M2. ARR is the byproduct. The keystone is M2 attach.
BYO means you bring your own verified WhatsApp Business number — you pay Meta directly for messages, K9OS only runs the operator software. Bundled means K9OS provisions the WhatsApp Business Account directly via the Meta WhatsApp Business Platform (we are a registered Tech Provider) and bills it as part of your subscription. BYO is not cheaper — you just split the payment. Most pet hotels start BYO; multi-language operations with multiple senders often prefer Bundled.
